Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Azurio collects and uses your personal data when you use our social sweepstakes service, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Azurio is operated by Azurio Entertainment Ltd., a company registered in Malta, Level 3, 12 Quay Street, Valletta VLT 1000. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), country of residence and date of birth.
- Consents: confirmation of age and residence, acceptance of our Terms, and your marketing choice.
- Play data: coin balances, spins, wins, bonuses claimed and VIP progress.
- Verification data: phone number and identity documents, only if you choose to verify your account.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and log records needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and keep your balances accurate.
- To check that you are 21 or over and not playing from a restricted territory.
- To run sweepstakes fairly.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and multiple accounts.
- To send you news and offers — only if you opted in.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — running your account and the games you play.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — age checks, anti-money-laundering and tax rules where they apply.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security, fraud prevention and improving the service.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We share it only with processors that help us run the service — hosting, email delivery, identity verification and payment providers — under written agreements that oblige them to protect it, and with authorities when the law requires it.
International transfers
We keep your data in the European Economic Area wherever possible. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional safeguards where needed.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is open and for up to 5 years after it is closed, where needed to meet legal obligations or to defend legal claims. Marketing data is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Malta, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), or the authority in your own country.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your progress. We use analytics or marketing cookies only with your consent, which you can change at any time in your cookie settings.
